THE RESUME OF CALLAN ROWE
Strategic Multidisciplinary experience Designer
With a background in film and design Callan has a wide range of skills and a unique perspective. Having worked on motion, interactive, UX, film, illustration and digital design projects some might ask, “Is there anything this guy can’t do?” Callan has a passion for branded content, applying his skills to create work thank meets client goals while delivering true value to the customer. A few years ago Callan did a personality test that revealed the key drivers for him are Truth, Beaty and Purpose. Since reading this, these values have become a sort of Samurai code that Callan holds his work up to.
Truth: Does the work have something to say or is it just marketing jargon? Does it hit home? Is it real? Does it make you think?
Beauty: Does the work use the aesthetics of the medium to connect with an audience and drive an emotional response? Does it draw you in? Are you still thinking about it long after it’s gone?
Purpose: The most important of all three, does the work meet the client and customer needs? Does the customer feel entertained, informed, challenged, excited, awe struck, inspired? Does the work drive sales, increase traffic, generate leads, improve SEO, create engagement, get downloads, earn likes and make money for the client.
This is what drives Callan, this is what gets him up in the morning and keeps him up at night. If this is what drives you too, give Callan a call.

As well as working in a diverse list of clients I have been involved in growing our service offering and mentoring junior members of the team.
Freelance – Graphic/ Motion Designer & Video Editor

During this time I worked mainly on corporate video editing projects. I became fluent in Adobe CC and honed my storytelling skills. My work became increasingly focused on motion graphics which spurred me on to return to study a Graduate Diploma of design.
